why would you not to cash out from your Casino account it soon after you have done it?  I don’t see how they can reverse it if the cash already withdrawn from your casino account.  Make you pay back to the cage?

You can cash out. What I was saying is you cannot use OBC (nonrefundable) for the casino. If you have OBC & charge in the casino their accounting shows that it is deducted off your OBC & the last day it is adjusted to show that you owe the money. IE - if you have $50 OBC & charge $50 to the casino it will show you have zero left. Then the last day it will reverse the charge & show you owe the $50

That's never been my experience.  We got off the ship in Feb.  All my onboard was nonrefundable.  I charged $150 to the room account and we owed $10.  My credit card was charged $10.

By your scenario, I should have had a room balance of $160 and my card should have been charged $160, but it was only charged $10.

Maybe it's because I cashed out early.  Like the 5th day.  I don't know, all I know is my own experience.

Ask your TA to escalate it to their BDM (Business Development Manager). Emails to Customer Relations didn’t do anything for us.

I can't find my final statement - I don't think it was ever ,emailed to me. I had put a gift card on my account, I wonder if they refunded it to that. Of course I deleted the picture of it from my photos recently not thinking

While we have not cruised with HAL since Pandemic, your experience matched with friend’s.  Nobody who used the casino method would wait till last 2 days of the cruise to cash out.  We usually take the one and done approach,  Charged enough amount (usually close to the daily allowance) on the first or second sea day.  Since we don’t intend to play the system would block subsequent attempt to charge.  We then let it sit in the casino account for one to two days then cash out and be done with it.

They probably will eventually reload the amount to the original gift card.  We had around $10K in gift cards for a cancelled family Alaska cruise in 2020 and they actually reloaded all of it to the original cards.  I am glad I kept them all (plastic & e-cards), however it was a nightmare trying to figure out what they placed where.  If you no longer have the card you should let them know so they can re-issue a card, as my daughter had misplaced one of hers and that's what they did.  Good Luck, it seems any kind of refund involving gift cards has to go to another department. AKA, takes longer, lol.

I was on the Konigsdam. They actually called me the last day to tell me I had $55 OBC that I needed to use or lose that I had hoped would be applied to casino charge ( like my statement showed up to the last day)
