Transport from Tampa Hyatt Place to terminal 6

Staying one night pre-cruise at Hyatt Place Airport/Westshore.  They do have a shuttle to transport us from airport to the Hyatt.  I checked with hotel and they do have a shuttle to the port at a cost of $15 per person.  I also checked with Uber, which I would prefer using.  Although a trip between the hotel and port was priced at around $15 at the time I checked (Sunday at around 1 PM) , a scheduled trip on Friday morning at 10:45 AM was priced at $45 for the same type vehicle.  Is this something that is a normal happening?  Anyone have experience getting from hotel to port that they might share?
