Airport to Syntagma question

Is it safe and easy to take Metro Line 3 from airport to Syntagma Square.

Taxis around 60 Euros I read.

I took the express bus from the airport to Syntagma, it was easy and the buses are set up with luggage racks, etc.  The metro would probably be fine, I just felt there was slightly less lugging of luggage using the bus. 

 

Also, 60 euros would be on the low side for a taxi; it may be more depending on traffic.

Do you remember the bus number? Pick pockets ?

The bus number is X95. It's an express from the airport to Syntagma. I don't recall hearing much about pickpockets on this bus as it doesn't have a lot of on/off opportunities -- it goes directly to Syntagma from the airport, although I think there may be one other brief stop at a hotel enroute.
