Sandifer Posted April 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2022 I will be arriving in Vancouver from Miami on May 4 and leaving on a cruise on May 7. I think I will need to get a negative COVID test in Vancouver. Can anyone give me advice about where to get tested and the cost
Ashland Posted April 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2022 Have you considered getting a proctored test from eMed and doing it online from your hotel?
Rare westcoasttech Posted April 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2022 Here's the list of clinics etc. that offer testing for travelling from the British Columbia CDC site: http://www.bccdc.ca/health-info/diseases-conditions/covid-19/testing/where-to-get-a-covid-19-test-in-bc I haven't used any of them (yet), but would probably opt for Life Labs personally, as I use them for my normal medical tests I need. I know some people who have used the Zoom proctored tests and they seemed to work out for them. Make sure you check which type of test your particular cruiseline needs, it seems to vary from what I've seen. Also mandates are in flux in British Columbia generally on a week by week basis, not sure if that will affect cruise/border requirements, but probably good to keep checking the cruiseline website for changes...
