Spirit Questions?

The Spirit carries the Cartoon network in addition to a wide variety of movies, many of which are appropriate for children (e.g., The Sound of Music, Dreamer, etc.). Yes, clothes can be sent out for pressing. Not certain about turnaround time but I'm guessing 24 hours. They serve Afternoon Tea every day at the buffet between 3 and 5. I'm pretty sure you can get coffee or milk instead of tea. I never went to the tea, but if they're serving afternoon tea, I would imagine there are appropriate snacks (e.g., biscuits, cookies, etc.). You can also get milk (whole or fat-free) and cookies at the Blue Lagoon 24/7.

Is there a laundry room on board where I can do my own laundry and ironing? Or does it all have to be sent out? Is there a charge?

Are there formal nights with Freestyle dining?

Is there a place where we can help ourselves to water, etc? We have done 5 Carnival cruises, and one Royal, and the Carnival ships all have a drink bar where you can help yourself to water, ice, lemonade, fruit punch, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Also help-yourself soft serve ice cream. Anything like this on the Spirit?

Thanks in advance!

Adamsmom - there are no self serve laundry facilities on the SPIRIT. You can send it out, but there are fees for cleaning. There will also be a half price laundry bag on night of the cruise.

There are formal nights with Freestyle. It is optional. There are no dining room restrictions for formal dining.

You can often get juices, tea and water at most times in the buffet restaurant, also on the pool deck while food is provided there.
