floridatravelersforlife Posted April 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2022 We sailed the Edge class with their dinky safes 😝 Did the old safes from before the conversion carry over? Particularly interested in the Suites.
Barn Goddess Posted April 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2022 We were in a Sky Suite on the Millennium in February. There was a safe in the closet on a shelf. Not huge but fit my kindle/wallet/jewelry. It would not have fit my laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon) The ship was lovely and the Retreat areas were beautiful! Loved our experience on the Millennium!
Rare Turtles06 Posted April 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2022 We sailed on the “revolutionized” Summit in a corner FV in 2019. The safe was pretty small, especially for a stateroom intended for 4 or 5 guests. I posted a review of the cabin, in which I said the following about the safe: “Some have complained about the small size of the new safes on the "revolutionized" Summit. The safe in this cabin is indeed small. There is no room for a tablet or laptop; it’s really only suitable for passports, keys, wallets, phones, jewelry, and similar small valuables. This was not a problem for us, as we don’t usually lock up our larger electronics anyway. However, I do think that in a cabin this size, that is typically booked by four or five guests, it would probably be a good idea to have a second safe in the other cabinet.” I posted a photo of the safe in comment 8 of this thread:
