Murphy Posted February 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2006 We are booked on a B2B that changes in San Juan. Has anyone had any experiences of taking one of the excursions that normally would end at the airport? If so, could you arrange to have the bus drop you back off at the ship, or did you have to taxi back to the port? If you did this, how did you reboard the ship? Did you have to wait with everyone else boarding for the second sailing? TIA...
cme Posted February 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2006 When we did our last B2B on the Mariner in Dec. they offered us a tour to Cape Canveral on turnaround day. They may have something set up for B2Bers on your cruise. Enjoy!:) Carrie

We're doing a B2B on Mariner in a few weeks :D and don't really know what to do that day. We wanted to take one of the Airboat excursions but it ends at the Orlando airport and obviously we DON'T want to end up there. How did you find out about what excursions you could do? How was the tour you did? Worthwhile? Thanks for your help!!
Petert Posted February 26, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Hi Murphy, We sailed on the Brilliance with a b2b termination in Boston. There were about 20 of us remaining aboard, and we were issued new sign and sail cards on the morning we docked in Boston. We were offered a complementary city tour, where we left the ship very early during the debarkation, and our bus was waiting for us on the dock. We returned shortly after noon, and boarded the ship from the dock. We were free to leave and board the ship, as we had our photos recorded and our current boarding cards. We really enjoyed watching the other passengers leaving and arriving aboard, knowing we had another week aboard. Petert
Murphy Posted February 26, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Thanks Petert, That's good to know and we'll certainly ask about it. I am looking forward to not having to do anything, but it would be nice to see a little of San Juan as well.
