Sunrise vs. Conquest

Looking for a 4 day cruise. Newbies here.  I want to go to Key West and Cozumel.  We  like to go to bars and have good food. How are the MDR on both ships? Do they serve lobster on a 4 day cruise?  Which ship has a  better Serenity area? Which ship would suit us better. No kids!

Generally speaking to avoid kids you want to try and not cruise when schools are on break. Also the longer and in some cases more expensive a cruise is the less families with kids.

However, if you are new to cruising you need to find that balance of shorter and more affordable sample size vs. being on a ship overrun with children. The 4 day may be the perfect ticket if the cruise days are during the week and schools are not on break.

Comparing Sunrise to Conquest I prefer Conquest. The lido deck on Sunrise seems to not have a good flow, too many choke points. Its like they crammed as much on as they could.

Also make sure you research Key West.... some locals are against large cruise ships visiting, legal action and cancelled port calls have resulted. Make sure if you pick a cruise because of that itinerary it will stop there.

No matter what Carnival ship I recommend getting the Cheers package, visiting the Alchemy bar, and using the spa for saunas and steam rooms.

Have fun
