INeedAMaiTai Posted April 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2022 I will be traveling with my three minor kids in July. They are requiring a notarized letter from my ex that states I can take them out of the country. Does anyone have a sample letter they have used before? KeroTravel Posted April 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2022 I'm from Canada, but I googled "notarized travel consent letter California" and this came up. https://www.us-passport-service-guide.com/minor-travel-consent-form.html#minorconsentform It's similar in format and wordage to the ones I've seen from parents here. Thetravelmomof2 Posted August 20, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2022 We had a single mom in our group. She had a letter from the children's father similar to the one in the link above. It was a huge ordeal getting it from him and he purposefully stressed her out until the last minute. No one at check in or anyone during the entire cruise asked her for the letter or questioned where there father was. This was on Royal Caribbean in 2019.
