Euros?

Yes, you can use the euros on french-side St. Martin.  You often do better using dollars, however, because many places french-side accept dollars one-to-one with euros.  There are exceptions - times when using euros is the better deal. I normally save my euros from European travel for my next European travel as opposed to bringing them to St. Martin - and just carry dollars on SInt Maarten/Saint Martin.

Looks like we can use them of all the French possessions in the Caribbean.  We'll be in Guadaloupe next year so we'll probably just wait until then.
