Vibe Beach Club, pro tips please?

I’m okay with all of this except not knowing where the passes will be sold! Aside from the “divide and conquer” approach a PP mentioned, what’s the quickest way to find out? We’ll be on Breakaway next month and I’d love to get Vibe passes.

I would like to know this too.  We sail in a couple weeks on Breakaway.  Guest Services or Comedy Club?  Can some one please share?  I’ve searched but cannot find the answer.

I agree with all that is said here.we have had vibe passes on 2 occasions in the past and loved it. Problem is how much time spent there. If you have a port intensive cruise you probably won’t have a lot of time to spend there. Sea days are the best so weigh the cost against how much time you have to actually spend in it. Shows, casinos, excursions, dinner all take away from your time there.

I understand from your posts that you like a shaded lounger-My wife & I always try and  secure vibe passes-they do have umbrellas for the loungers, but the vibe can be very very windy @ times and they will not open the umbrellas for shade. Please consider this in determining if you want to secure vibe passes as some people purchase, then later cancel after experiencing very windy conditions when underway when sailing. We learned to tolerate wind days and enjoy the new friends we meet and spend the week with.

After watching a video this is my biggest concern with it being up so high. It looks VERY windy--is it always? (on Getaway in August; 3 sea days)

Yes, very windy but tolerable and of course depends on which side of the ship is in the wind

This is not a minor chunk of money to me, so I'm really weighing Vibe being worth it.

What is Vibe like at night between 8-11 (I think that's when it generally closes)? While the daytime use is a moderate draw for me, it's not for DH, so daytime use alone is not worth it for us. One of the big draws is that we both like relaxing hot-tubbing at night and the regular hot tubs can be crowded, and not always with chill people. So for those that have used it at night, what's it like? Is it a deserted wasteland? Are the hot tubs busy? Is there good bar service til close, or do you feel like it's an imposition to order a drink at 10pm?

We got a Vibe cabana back on Getaway back in 2014, and probably wouldn't do it again, but we aren't big "lay out all day in a lounger" people. And the cabana itself, because it has side walls that prevent the breeze was actually pretty hot - we ended up leaving our cabana to sit at the bar up there most days instead. And that was actually the best part, the excellent bartender (Kervin). My husband and I still say to each other after rough days at work "I need a Kervin!"

We have had Vibe passes for three sailings and on all three, the Vibe was closed down around 6:00 p.m. if memory serves me correct.

Thank you! That would make my decision an easy no, so I'll have to look into it once dailies for the winter itineraries are posted.

I have the option to pre-book Vibe passes for a Joy sailing next year.

If I pay now, and subsequently upgrade to Haven (either paying or through upgrade programme) - can I get a refund of Vibe passes?

yes

Interesting....on previous sailings on the BA/GA we had to do the "board and dash" routine to secure Vibe passes.  We are on the October 15th sailing of the Prima from New York and I was able to buy them ahead of time.  Lucky us!

Curious....Is this a change for all ships or just the Prima? Does anyone know?

The vibe is a must for us if not in the haven .we love the private bar and hot tubs can always visit the main pool deck when we want live music and a dip in the pool but having a relaxing private space with bartenders who get to know you and what you like is wonderful, they do have umbrellas for shade . Best of all you can pre reserve online as we did no more racing to the designated spot once on ship to buy a pass .

Bought Vibe passes today for the Bliss Panama Canal in January 2023. Keep in mind it’s a 15 day cruise and the pass is for the whole cruise.5017295A-0F04-4B93-8BB9-F303E98A91E4.thumb.jpeg.208a2041452b0f7a4adbbac80cc9fa4b.jpeg

That’s a great price, considering I paid $269/person for my 10 night sailing! You are getting 5 additional days for only $20 more!

I bet in a few months the charge for your sailing will increase - when I originally bought thermal spa passes for my current sailing they were $249/person, but by the time my sailing occurred (I’m on the Escape currently) the passes cost $329/person!

That's a great value.  We paid the same for our 11 day Halloween Prima cruise.  The 7 day cruises are 229.

We had Vibe passes for the Panama cruise on the Encore back in April. For us it was well worth it. Great spot to watch the transit from you can hear the informative speaker on the speakers. The views are amazing in Cabo too. The bar and lounge chair service is excellent we had such a good time meeting people usually in the hot tub with a cocktail.
