Want to explore Canada - cruise line recommendations please

We have exclusively cruised Carnival and even did a 5 day years ago to Halifax and St John.

 

I see we have many options for Canada, Princess, Holland America, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean.

 

Does anyone have advice?  I know there are different itineraries based on same embark/debark port or different ports.

We are leaning toward a Canada/US embark/debark to get in more ports.

You should add Celebrity to that list.  I'm not sure about Norwegian but between the other lines I'd just pick the itinerary that looks the best.  I wouldn't discount a round trip either if you have the time.  You can see just as many ports because there are stops at different ports in each direction.  You can also save a bit on airfare.

I think you have to look at the different itineraries and see what you like. Long or short cruise. Time of year is important too because Canada is limited. I feel like a lot of Canada cruises included New England ports. There's a cool one that heads out to Greenland. 

 

We've always wanted to go to Quebec and it's the last port on our cruise. That's what made me choose that one. Plus it's long.
