CocoCay Beach bed - Breezy Bay vs. South Beach

Hi all,

Looking to book a beach bed. Which area is better for a family group in terms of location and least windy spot?

I've stayed at beach beds on both.  South beach is more peaceful and you can walk way out to the sandbar that is a unique experience, but it is more remote. Breezy Bay is near to the Oasis Lagoon and Buffet so it is more convenient. I don't remember wind being an issue at either spot - they are essentially on the same side of the island.

 

Oh.   The Floating bar is off South beach now where it was at Breezy bay when we were there in June.

Thanks for the response. We're less concerned with the bar and more inclined to be closer to the food since we'll have kids along..
