HAL Gift cards - BuyaTab is in Vancouver

I had to call HAL - BuyaTab to get my online gift card purchases to go through. I was given a 604 area code phone #. I didn't realize that this # is in Vancouver. I had additional charges on my Verizon bill due to it being an international #.

 

Just wanted to give others a heads up. I was surprised by the cell phone bill.

Interesting  that would be a local call for me.

I used their toll-free numbers to reach them. The initial e-mail telling me there was a problem gave this number: (833) 907-3080. After I called I received e-mails with this number: (888) 267-0447
