tk2fast Posted May 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2022 Just being proactive here before we board at Port Everglades on Princess. We use a digital certificate from Vaxyes for covid vax id and wanted to make sure it is accepted. Called Princess and that was no help. Would appreciate anyone here that can shine some light on this?
Rare cruzin4us Posted May 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2022 Here's my take: You may be able to use them but with everything changing daily, I'd take both your vaccination card and the digital certificate. Here's an example of why: What if you go somewhere where they require the actual vaccine card and they you only have the digital certificate? It's not worth the risk in my opinion. Every country is different.....it's better to have a back up than to miss out on something. 2
Rare sunviking90 Posted May 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2022 We have used our digital vaccine cards a few times now. In Canada the digital ones replaced the paper ones long ago and that’s all we have now.
tk2fast Posted May 10, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted May 10, 2022 I agree... I will have the digital on my phone and also have a photo of the CDC card. We want to be well prepared as our last two cruises were cancelled and we are more than ready to sail again.

I have everything on my phone in a folder so I have everything just incase they want something else. I still bring all of the original documents just in case. I have never had any problems with having the document's on my phone. I keep my vaccine cards inside my Passport so they are always their for traveling. Be aware you may have a problem with only a copy of the CDC card if they want the original. I always have the original copies of everything.
