Corner Aft Stateroom or Owners Suite on Explorer ?

Recommended Posts

If cost was not a factor......

would you choose a center hump OS 1320 or a corner aft D1 1688 on the Explorer.

My DSIL is a sun-bunny...tan,tan,tan. It's what she likes to do on vacation. She prefers to get her rays in a more private setting;

on a balcony, rather than the pool deck.

So, last night we searched through deck plans and webshots.

The Owners Suite is in a great location, is quite luxurious and spacious 506 sq ft WOW!. The perks are nice too :rolleyes: although the balcony seems small/narrow, recessed and mostly shaded, enclosed in the metal surround. No lounger provided.

The D1 corner aft has a smaller stateroom 188 sq ft., but the balcony is huge with a lounger, no metal surround, sunny, airy open and has the $$$$ view of the wake.

It would be my DSIL (48) :eek: She'd kill me if she knew I posted her age! HaHa and DBIL (50), no children.

BTW ~~~Their most recent cruise was on the Staten Island Ferry :D :D

..........so what do you think? :rolleyes:
