Shower Seat For Cove Balcony Room?

We are cruising on the Horizon in Oct with some friends. The lady is not able to stand easily to shower. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Bench or Stool from Carnival to use in the shower and will one even fit in the shower? We have booked them a regular Cove Balcony room. Thanks for any help

I advise you to contact Special Needs at Carnival to request this.  I have a friend who has made that request through Special Needs and was told it would be done for an upcoming cruise.

Once you get onboard, ask you cabin steward.  They can supply a heavy duty shower chair.  As I have personally broken 3 of the fold down handicapped fold downs, I alway ask for a replacement chair and they have been provided.  

 

The Mardi Gras fold down was held by 4 screws into the sidewall.  Not even toggle bolts.

 

But again, Cabin Steward will get a full chair which that looks exactly what I use at home.
