Glory

Recommended Posts

Just getting off glory and was wondering if anyone else had issues with crew sickness. Our lead server was out the last three days feeling under the table, favorite bar tender, and also the comedy host guy. Thanks and I can answer any questions you may have, good, bad, and the ugly. It had some of all!!

Covid cases are up on land and at sea. Probably a number of passengers on the cruise are or will test positive. The crew is not immune. Maybe check roll call pages? That's how it was on our Dream cruise. Besides the visa issues, another reason for staffing issues.

Wow! That is surprising. We sailed the Glory five times since reopening and the only sign of covid among the crew was that one cruise we didn't have the same room steward (we stayed in rooms on the same hallway for all the cruises). The next cruise she greeted us when we arrived and we said we had missed her. Turned out she had covid. Carnival had put her up at a Double Tree in New Orleans for two weeks.

Most all of those folks' contracts ended in late April to May so you have a different crew, but Marky Mark was the new comedy club host on our early April cruise. He was great! Too bad you missed him.
