Covid test to enter canada

We are set  to fly from Florida  to Vancouver on Thursday. we will leave on Saturday on the Koningsdam. All along I thought I read that a Covid test was not needed to fly to Vancouver from the US. We plan to get Covid tested in Vancouver for the cruise. I got something today from Delta that made it look like we do need a Covid test to board plane for Vancouver. Is that correct? I’m driving myself crazy to find out. We do have a layover in Los Angeles. Help!

You no longer need a negative Covid test to enter Canada.

You will need to get the ArriveCAN app and fill in the required information though.

As the others have stated, there is no Canadian government requirement for you to be tested prior to a flight to Canada. Could you post the Delta information giving rise to your concern?

USA does require tests to fly to USA. May be that is where the message gets confused.
