Kamfish642 Posted May 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2022 With all the various posts, it is difficult to really assess the COVID risk, which of course will vary depending on what part of the world you are cruising to. We ate scheduled for an HAL cruise out of Amsterdam in July on the Rotterdam. Is there a metric that I can find to better assess COVID infection rates on European cruises? It's impossible to say for certain. Cruise lines are not releasing actual numbers and one can only look for patterns here on CC or Social. I am of the belief that infection rates on cruises mirror infection rates on land, however cruisers report more covid due to current protocols. The question I would ask before embarking on a journey across the pond is a) How comfortable will I be if quarantined? b) What is my plan if I test positive before boarding a plane back to the usa?
