wolvey Posted May 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2022 We’re arriving in Seattle the night before the cruise and staying at the Westin hotel. How are people getting from the airport up to downtown Seattle if you are coming in early? We do not know anyone who can give us lift. We need to use a minivan as we have 4 luggage and 4 people. Uber is showing $75. I looked at the 1 line train and it’s $3 per person and takes an hour. We have to walk 1/2 mile from the airport to the station tho. any other options or what have other people done?
broker1217 Posted May 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2022 The Link light rail is connected to the airport fourth floor parking. You would get off at Westlake and be about 500' from the Westin. We've done the Link when staying downtown and it takes about 40 minutes. $75 for Uber for 4 people seems pretty reasonable but you could also see how much a limo company would charge. If I was traveling with handicapped folks who cannot walk I would arrange for a wheelchair escort at the airport and a private limo to make it easier for them. Dan G Posted May 28, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2022 (edited) I'm sorry people but no car on earth can carry 4 people and 8 suitcases. Link is easy however there is a shuttle service now that replaced Shuttle Express. https://premierairportshuttle.com/seatac/ its in the pkg garage with the cabs and rideshares. There are taxi vans and you just ask the taxi dispatcher to find you one. The shuttle appears to be about $61 for 4 people to Westin https://premierairportshuttle.com/reservations/ Edited May 28, 2022 by Dan G

DogLover Posted May 29, 2022 #9 Share Posted May 29, 2022 Last year for our July 30th departure, we used Capital Aeroporter (apparently now called Premier Shuttle) for 4 adults and many bags. Efficient, prompt, clean transportation with excellent communication. We pre-booked a private shuttle from SeaTac to the Fairmont Olympic for $115. Not exactly the cheapest option, but I highly recommend their service! Shel71 Posted June 8, 2022 #10 Share Posted June 8, 2022 Can anyone give me an idea of what an Uber cost would be from SeaTac to the Courtyard Marriott in Lake Union around 11 AM on Monday, July 4th for 2 people and 3 suitcases? I've never used Uber in Seattle and wondering if the Premier Shuttle would be more economical for us?

Thank you! Hi, no we don't sail until August. However we used them a couple years ago and was very satisfied. There was 6 adults and lots of luggage and the van was appropriate. We are a group of four with lots of luggage, have been directed to the SUV option but will inquire about the van 🙂

You can get a price estimate here: https://www.uber.com/global/en/price-estimate/ You can also schedule ahead up to 30 days in advance in many cases, although sometimes this isn't possible from airport pickup locations.
