For The Real Queen Elizabeth

Congratulations to Queen Elizabeth, may she reign for many more years. And to all of you in the Commonwealth, you do know how to put on a fine show. That is what Cunard has done for this many years. They also put on a fine traditional show, may they also continue in that style.

It was moving to see our Queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace - twice this morning. All being well, in 12 days we should be boarding "Her Majesty's" ship in Vancouver.

I had tears in my eyes watching our beloved Queen today and may I say, what a moving tribute  President Obama gave to our Queen.

I have the deepest respect for her.

 

Even when I am German and she is not "my Queen" I have to say that she impressed me with her loyalty and discipline.

 

And there aren´t many people in the world like her right now.

 

So....Congratulations from Germany too!

She is a wonder! And we board her namesake tomorrow! I am eager to see what celebrations there might be on board.
