Comedy shows - same or different?

Are the comedy shows at Headliners different each night or do they repeat the same show on different days? Also, for the days when there is a 9pm and 11pm show - are those different or the same? I saw it says 11pm is for adults only so assuming they do different routine but not sure...

Depends entirely on the performer, although often the same for both performances on the same day. Some have a set act, others improvise.  And yes, an adults only show if specified would be different.

On the Getaway a few weeks ago they had zero comedians. Pretty poor when they advertise Headliners

When someone brings kids to the late show the comedians do the adult material anyway and often target the parents of those kids.  Who deserve it.

 

I have been on cruises where the comedian repeats 75% of the show from one day to the next and others where they don't.  More often they do.  Some will tell you at the end of the first day's show.

On the Bliss in March one of the comedians did the same set three times (on three different nights.)  He was being paid to do a job and he gave 33% effort.

Realize there are a very limited number of cruise related jokes. One involves the commode and two the shower. Every comedian, every show.

There were two comedians on the Joy last week (5/22 sailing). I'll call them 1 & 2. We saw #1 on Day two early show. He indicated not to come for his next set in the social club the next time he was there (day three or four cant remember) but that his additional set at at the end of the cruise in the social club would be new material. (as well as his adult show in the theater) We did go to his second show and it was completely new material.  And this gentleman never discussed the commode or the shower in either of his acts.

 I cannot speak to the variety of comedian #2 or even if his family friendly sets spoke of commodes and showers 😄 because we saw his adult show and just didn't care for his style at all so skipped him after that.

Comedian #1 was our kind of humor for the most part and I enjoyed his stuff.
