Virgincruiser06 Posted February 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2006 What is the difference between the golden rest. and the red sail rest. on the glory? Is one more formal than the other? I know the lido deck is casual/fast food and the emerald rest. is the $/fancy one, but what is the diff. of the other 2? Thanks!
serene56 Posted February 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2006 the Glory has two regualr dining rooms-- one will have a time of 5:45 and 8:00 and the other will have dining at 6:15 and 8:30 These are your formal dining rooms (Golden and Platinum) 2 levals each room this is where you go for your dinners which will be assigned when you check in-- your assignment will be on your sign and sail card. (if you do breakfast or lunch in either of these rooms its opened seating in only one ( Its the one on the aft) Red Sail is the Lido buffet. (various stations so check before you chose the first one) Here is where you will find the chinese, pizza, deli, grill, etc.etc. Emerald room is the Supper CLub and 30.pp surcharge is here
Cotton Posted February 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2006 As far as the two formal dining rooms on any Carnival cruise - they're almost identical, with the same exact service - one will be aft and the other will be forward/center.
