Batman5924 Posted June 8, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2022 Hello, My wife and I have come up with this plan in Nassau. Get off boat and go right. It’s Nassau’s future walking area/bourbon street. It’s still a work in progress but you can feel it’s coming. By senor frogs, grab the boat for $5 to Atlantis. Super enjoyable. 10 minutes. Go to Atlantis and eat at Olives (real food). Love carnival, but again if you have $100 to spend it’s worth it Real food and good. After you get on boat to come back, go to Senor Frogs. Don’t be afraid, I’m 55 it’s a lot of fun. Then get back on the boat. Check out the market on the way back
jerseygirlinAZ Posted June 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2022 Sounds like a good plan! We are both 50 and have a nearly 7-year old daughter. Hubby and I have done Nassau before, but are thinking about walking to the Ardastra Gardens and doing a tour. Might head to the pirate museum as well. Last time we were in Nassau, we took a wrong turn and were heading in the wrong direction. A nice gentleman (who will initially ignored) asked where we were going. Fortunately, he got us turned around the right way.
wido78 Posted June 8, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2022 Curious if non "day pass" / guests are able to access Atlantis at this point? It appeared to me that they are requiring you to be registered via the hotel or a day pass to be on property. Am I mistaken?

(and I'm a pirate nerd) Tons of fun stuff to do in Nassau. Done my own walking tours many times. As much as possible I head to the Graycliff to check out the gorgeous old hotel and pick up some of their nice cigars next door. Go see Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Staircase and Govenor's mansion a few blocks walk from the pier. Dying to try a daypass at ther new Margaritaville resort. (will miss the old British Colonial Hilton next door, was a good day pass) Never beem to Cable Beach but hear it is very nice. Tried riding over to Atlantis over 2nd time in Nassau and will never go back. The Aquariums were ok, but everything else is super fake (disneyesque) and waaaay overpriced. (I remember getting a a tiny cup of mac andf cheese for $12 over a decade ago.) I always feel bad for folks who stay on the ship or just walk a block over to Bay St. or Atlantis and then state how bad Nassau is. If you get away from the pier and try to see something real in Nassau, it is a great place.

You do not need any kind of pass to enter the casino, the shopping area or the restaurants attached to the casino. If you try to walk through the casino and enter other parts of the property, they will ask to see some sort of pass.
