Are 18% gratuities added if you book a Cheers to You rate?

I didn’t see extra gratuities show up, but I’ve hear that on other cruise lines you are charged gratuities on your free drink package. The rate is not a lot more to book, but if we are $60x2peoplex8daysx18% it could add up to a lot.

Yes, grats are included in the free drink package.  Hubs and I sailed with one back in November.

I did tip an actual dollar per drink extra because I knew times had been tough for the crew while the industry was on pause, but that was totally my choice and not expected.

I booked wife in an upper/lower solo 12/26 on a Cheers To You fare because the third pax fare was $1000+. I'm almost positive each drink had an 18% gratuity added and I also tipped a $1 extra on each slip.

Nothing is added for a gratuities with the CHEERS TO YOU when you order a drink.  The receipt does have a place for a written tip.  The servers do not receive 18% of the value for your order  per drink like if you pay per drink so that $1 makes a big difference

I always add a dollar a drink. Must have been confused about the auto-gratuity because my slips were not under Cheers.

Thanks. I don’t mind tipping for drinks we have, but we don’t drink a lot so didn’t want a big gratuity based on $120 drinks per day.
