There are 7 of us travelling on Iona in August across 3 bookings (although they are linked). When the speciality restaurants open for booking online, am I able to make a reservation for 7 even though my specific booking reference is only for 2 of us?

I'm not sure about that. Mum, OH and I were linked bookings and I could only see our names, not Mum's on My P&O and the same applied to the app when on board!

If you were looking to book before boarding you might have to give P&O a ring.

We were on Iona in a group of 8 in October, we didn't book anything until boarding as we couldn't see a way to book for the linked parties online.

Once onboard we were able to book restaurants pretty easily just by physically going to the restaurant, it was a pain on the app as we weren't able to book a table larger than 6 on there (it wasn't possible when joining queues for the MDR either). They may have updated this by now though? At the Olive Grove they wouldn't make a booking for us manually and we had to book 2 tables of 4 via the app, we were however seated at one large table once we arrived.
