Question About Shoes/TIVA's for Cave Tubing

Am under the assumption that TIVA's are ok for the hike to the river. Is that correct? They are not flip flops but strap on your feat and are open-toed.

That's what I wore and they worked perfect! Have a great time. It's awesome.

I agree, we all wore Tevas and they were great! They are much more comfortable for the hike than water shoes or wet tennis shoes.

We wore old sneakers and had no issues and I liked the fact that they had closed toes.

 

Since they were old ones, we were prepared to throw them away when we were done, but we asked our tour guide who said that there were people who would like them so we gave them to him..
