Whale Watching - Saint John, New Brunswick (private tours)

We are sailing into Saint John, New Brunswick in August.  I heard the best time for whale watching is in August.  Are there any private tours, easy to connect with, near the cruise ship port?  If so, can you make some recommendations?  There’s one through the cruise line, but only one spot left.  There are four in our group.  Thanks in advance!
