Carnival terminal - New Orleans; lining up to board

We have 10:30 boarding time.  Pre-covid, when we cruised last, it was a free-for-all with people lining up.

Is it any better organized now?  Am I going to find a line with people assigned later boarding times - and how do I tactfully insert myself into this line at "my time slot".

I'm thinking Southwest Boarding line if anyone who flies SW can relate?  (we are not Plat or Dia).

It was like that when I cruised in December. We had a 10:00 time, got there by shuttle around 9:45, and there was already a long line. I saw several people ahead of us with later times. I don't think you can tactfully cut into that line. Just hope the employees enforce it when they open the terminal up.
