Formal Nights on Princess Alaska Cruisetours

Does anyone know when formal nights are usually scheduled on Cruisetours sailing from Whittier to Vancouver?

Welcome to Cruise critic. I've never done the tour part, but the sea portion is usually the first and last sea days of the cruise.

Just to clarify.  There is no formal night on the cruise tour part. There is the cruise and then the optional land tour after or before. You are on your own for all meals on the land tour. I am assuming you are asking about the cruise part which was answered.

Unless the last sea day is the last night of the cruise. I don’t think they ever do “Evening Chic” on the last night of a cruise.

You aren't always on your own for meals during the land portion of your trip. It really depends on what level of Cruisetour you've booked. For instance if you book the Connoisseur Escorted tour you'll get breakfast or lunch every day and dinner every day. Other Cruisetours are very basic and you can be on your own. YMMV

 

Now for formal nights, we were just on the Royal Princess June 4 voyage from Whittier to Vancouver. IIRC, the first formal night was the second day of the voyage and the last formal night was the second to last night.

We just ended the regular cruise tour. We just wore what he had on during the day. Very laid back and casual.
