rungirl1124 Posted June 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2022 Has anyone been to Trogir recently? Post Covid? Does Seabourn offer a shuttle to Split? We will be on the Quest July 12 Venice (Ravenna) to Barcelona.... If not, are taxi's readliy available? How about the return trip? TIA! curmudgeon98 Posted June 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2022 (edited) We spent a couple of days there recently (land-based). Trogir has a nice old town of it's own, though smallish, on the island. Lots of restaurants tucked into the narrow streets. There's a taxi stand just across the bridge to the mainland, at the road junction there. There's a boat shuttle of some form to Split as well, but I didn't look into details (it seemed somewhat oriented to airport use). Uber is also an option in that region of Croatia. Krka falls is a pretty area a bit further away that could be worthwhile. The pedestrian bridge further down the island was closed, but the car bridge is fine for walking. kksunfun Posted June 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2022 At minute 2:04 there is a small snippet of our recent Quest visit to Trogir. It was a worthwhile visit. 1

What an absolutely lovely video, with excellent music pairing ! Thank you. It brought back memories of the ports I had been to, and Trogir definitely looks like a new bucket list candidate.
curmudgeon98 Posted June 28, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2022 Looking a bit further, the boat service is 4x per day, taking about an hour to central Split (with a stop by the airport). It leaves from just across the island-side bridge from Trogir. If the timing works, it's not a bad option, or do the boat one way and taxi the other. https://www.buraline.com/ If you use a taxi, agree on the price before you set out. We found taxi prices not especially cheap (but the condition was much better than typical US taxis).
