Puerto Vallarta - Botanical Garden

The Botanical is indeed a great place to visit. They are in the top list of gardens. You might take cab or Uber to get there, it is about 24 kms. south of Vallarta. The drive down is nice, mostly along the ocean and partly inland. Getting there by local bus is a bit complicated.

Maybe you can find some people on your rollcall that want to join you so you can arrange  transportation. You will see certified guides at the dock and at the exit offering their service. Talk to them to make a nice deal.

Did you check the garden website for much information? https://www.vbgardens.org/general-information/

Thank you.  I did look at the website.   Always love feedback of other cruisers who have been places.

We weren't on a cruise but we stay in PV for a week and went to the gardens.  I highly recommend it. Beautiful flowers, tropical plants, hiking trails that lead to water that you can take a dip in if you want, and a great restaurant on site with humming birds everywhere.  We took a taxi from the Marina area.  I don't recall what it cost but it was worth it.
