Chasing Northern Lights - Best Dog Sled Experience

In looking over past cruises shore excursions, there’s multiple ports to take a dog sled ride. Does anyone have a preference or are they all kind of the same?

Our Ship overnighted in Tromso so no fear of missing the Ship. We did a nighttime sled ride from Tromso. The pick up was the Radisson Hotel which is just by where the ship docks. They bussed us about 30 mins out of town so Northern Lights viewing at the same time if conditions are right.We had a long sled ride, tour if the dogs and met the puppies and a supper of reindeer stew. Sorry can’t remember the name but look it up on Google.

We also did the Viking dog sledding trip too in Alta .

I would highly recommend Tromso Artic Reindeer. Fabulous trip not too far from the port and half the price of Vikings.
