WILL VACCINATION BEING AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN CHANGE WAIVERS?

Now that vaccines are available for 6months and up will vaccine be required for all? As contagious as Covid is now I’m wondering if they will now require everyone be vaccinated. Any word?

Thanks. Others may not agree with me but I’m hoping things don’t get more relaxed. I know several people who got Covid on board after being really careful and avoiding getting Covid for 2 years.

I got off a cruise a bit over two weeks ago and all three of us caught it.  All of our symptoms were considered "mild" (we're vaxxed and boosted), but it still wasn't a pleasant experience, I'm just now getting back to normal.

 

My daughter had a tracking app on her phone and she had at least 6 notices of close encounters with others who had tested positive while on the cruise.  In hindsight I wish we'd have masked up while in shows, clubs, elevators, etc.

 

As far as any changes to vaccination policy, anything will just be pure speculation until Carnival makes an announcement.

I hope not. I have several cruises booked with my almost 4 year old and my almost 2 year old. Our pediatrician is not suggesting the COVID vaccine at this time until we visit for their well visits to discuss in person.
