Shore Excursion availability

I have two cruises for May - 1 Caribbean and 1 British Isles and very few shore excursions are listed.  I haven't cruised Celebrity in a while, is this typical?  Some ports show no excursions yet and others show only a few excursions.  I tend to do a combo of DIY and ship excursions, but hard to compare when little is showing.

May of 2023, correct?  If so, you have plenty of time, I'd def not be concerned about this right now.

I think a lot of the S E providers are going through changes due to Covid and the resulting challenges.

 Also X is having to evaluate the existing S E providers and those new to the market.

 I mostly book my S E's through www.shoreecursionsgroup.com because their group size tends to be smaller than the large group tours by X.

 SEG also has the same guarantee about If you miss the Ship that X offers.

 I see that SEG has fewer S E's listed than Pre Covid so that tells me there must be fewer providers ?

You may have plenty of time but the "old snooze you loose." got me twice recently.  I told myself I'll book next week and next week excursion was SOLD OUT.  Now I have to figure a plan B.  Yes, I too have noticed that there are not as many excursions to choose among and some appear and then disappear.  

I booked a cruise for October 2023 and there are no excursions available to book yet.
