Had Covid 30 Days ago - still positive

Recommended Posts

When someone gets Covid they can sometimes still have a positive test a month or so after having Covid and recovering. I don’t see any latitude in this situation where a doctor could write a note saying the person has recovered. From all I have read if you don’t have a negative test you don’t get onboard even if fully vaccinated.

Does anybody know what happens in this scenario?

thanks

If you have a positive PCR test, you can get a Certificate of Recovery from your doctor 11-90 days after the date of the positive test. If it was not PCR, you cannot use a COR. That said, most people do not continue to test positive with Antigen tests at the 30 day mark (but still possible with PCR). All Royal Caribbean needs is negative Antigen.
