Oasis of the Seas -- Thermal Suite Information

Recommended Posts

I would greatly appreciate basic information on the Oasis of the Seas Thermal Suite for an upcoming August cruise.

1.  What it contains

2. Cost (per day/per cruise)

3. How to purchase (does not seem to be available for pre-cruise purchase)

4.  Number of passes they sell

5. Operating hours

6. Does a pass permit unlimited visits

7. Is there a reservation system or just use whenever/how crowded

Thank you!

1.  What it contains

Heated ceramic lounger beds (5 or 6), Rainforest showers (2), Aromatherapy steam room, alternate steam room (1 each) and dry sauna (1). Can secure locker & key when checking in at Treatments desk on deck 5. (The Vitality Spa and reception area is on deck 6; enter thermal suite area on deck 5 via back stairs or accessible elevator.)

2. Cost (per day/per cruise)

About $20/day. I think it was $129 for the full 7N cruise pkg

3. How to purchase (does not seem to be available for pre-cruise purchase)

Yes, that's my complaint since it's "offered" in the cruise planner, but seldom able to pre-purchase it online. Book package @ Vitality Spa and you'll get a sticker on your SeaPass card.

4.  Number of passes they sell

Not sure of the number of passes sold but it is controlled. Never crowded during my recent 3 weeks onboard Oasis with 5000-5800+ passengers.

5. Operating hours

8AM-9PM, maybe til 10PM? The Vitality Spa hours were 8AM-10PM daily

6. Does a pass permit unlimited visits

Yes

7. Is there a reservation system or just use whenever/how crowded

No reservations required. First come first serve basis.

Thank you!

@long4acruise -- Thanks so much for the comprehensive information!

@jerseygirl1416 -- yes, NCL thermal suites much more extensive and I enjoy them as well.

Thanks again.
