Hotel recommendations for cruise on Carnival from Manhattan

My family of 4 are driving from Boston the night before a cruise next July.  (Monday 7/25/2023).  The last time we drove we stayed in Stamford Ct.  It worked out really well.  None of us remember which hotel we used and it was at least 4 years ago.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel in Ct,  that would be acceptable for a one night pre cruise.  We are just using it to  crash the night before and plan on parking at the Cruise port.  We would prefer the hotel to be easy on and off the highway,  with parking for the night we are staying, and somewhere to eat dinner/breakfast.

La Quinta - right at I-95 Exit 6 in Stamford - 45 minutes from NYC (hour or so at rush hour), with a pretty good diner/restaurant attached.
