Westerdam Keycard can I punch hole?

In the past we have put a hole in the card away from the magnetic strip so we can pull out the card on a retractable clip on attachment from our pocket.

I'm not a fan of having the lanyard hanging from my neck

Does anyone know if these cards are on the Westerdam, or are they the new cards that we won't be able to punch a hole?

Thanks

Even though they come with the hole, I still use a holder that I got online from a company called Specialist ID.  It allows the card to easily slide out using your thumb, so you can give to the staff for charges without having to give them the whole lanyard.  It also keeps the card in place without it falling out.  They offer double -sided ones as well (one-side key card and other side beverage card).  They even have RFID-blocking ones nowadays.  You can attach it to the retractable badge reels pretty easy.  I do use a lanyard, but I found it on eBay years ago.  It's nice and long and beaded.  It's just looks nicer than the usual ones.

Koningsdam key cards did not come with a hole and staff said they were not allowed(?) to do it.

So I took out my trusty itty bitty pen knife in my cabin and made my own hole.   It worked fine.  Just don't injure yourself.
