zductive Posted March 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2006 What is the average age on the TP? My buddy and I are 40s - will we be at the younger end or are there a lot of younger folks. Are there many singles on this cruise. Is the main activity drinking beside the ship's pool or do they have the silly games like carnival does in the carribean? RNay Posted March 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2006 The TP is full of honeymooners and anniversary couples. Your age is fine. We were 41 when we went last year and there were plenty of couples our age. This is not a "party barge" type of ship. The atmosphere is definitely relaxed and slower paced than, say the Caribbean. There are plenty of things to do - or nothing to do - your choice. I would have to say that singles were in the minority when we went.
JudyK Posted March 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2006 I would also have to agree with RNay, we just returned from the TP and we are mid 50's, there were lots of Honeymooners and anniversary couples. We also only encountered about 7 children. There were many over the 60 range and I didn't notice that many singles. This is defiantly not a party ship like Carnival, but they still offered pool games in the afternoon and there is always different activities going on. We enjoyed the more relaxed paced on the ship which reflected the same pace as the islands of French Polynesia.
