SouthLyonCruiser Posted July 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2022 When selecting my arrival time, I chose 11:30am. After doing this, I called my daughter, who is going on the same cruise with her family and told her to book the same time as we have arranged a shuttle for that time. Now, when I printed off my edocs, I see that they put us at 9:30am. When I contaced Norwegian, I was told that I could not switch and had to come at 9:30. Well, not going to happen. I am going at 11:30 with my daughter. What's goingto happen.
TrumpyNor Posted July 19, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2022 As I understand it, the arrival times at the pier is just to make certain that peoples arrivals are spread out over a few hours instead of everyone coming to check in at the pier at the same time. So if you arrive a few hours later, then that is not causing any problems for anyone.

Middleager Posted July 19, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2022 In our last two cruises, 2021.12.5 TA out of Rome, and 2022.3.29 out of Colon (for Panama canal), they don't check anyone about arrival time slots. It's just who ever are in line. So those online sign up for spots, is just hoping people will spread out in their pre-planned time of arrival. sea witch Posted July 19, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2022 Confirming that they don't check on the time- they are not going to turn you away. Our last cruise on NCL in April, defaulted to 9:30am as well. Never mentioned it so no worries. Have FUN!
