Cape Liberty: On Oasis Sailings- Where do u get Key Cards/When access to a room?

On another few thread....There seemed to be disagreements, for Cape Liberty/Bayonne NJ,  as to:

 

1)Where you get ur Key Pass (some said at checking in terminal/ some said it's left in your room)

and

2)When you can and when your supposed to enter your stateroom on Day 1 (to drop off your carry on etc.)

 

Anyone who has recently been on Oasis.... what was it like for you?

Was just on it last week. At 1:30 they announced that we could go to our staterooms, and the key cards were shoved behind the room number on the door itself.

They are in your cabin mail "slot" outside the door.

Thks... if you are eating/drinking  before then (i.e. u won't have ur seapass yet) how do they know if you have the Drk Pkg or UDP????

By cabin or the barcode on your Setsail pass.

Thks... you post on the other topic and the others above scared me as the group gets on first thing and I would hate not to be able to eat or drink until the rooms open up!

You just tell them your room number and they’ll type it in the system rather than scanning the card.

Maybe if they did that, people wouldn't all show up at 10 AM.

True, but that could cause other problems, like everyone showing up at 3:00pm, drunk and unruly after hanging out in the nearest bar getting loaded with with cheap happy hour drinks!  😜
