Image for obstructed terrace?

I was on in June in an obstructed view room (8042Z) - I should have taken a picture of it, but yea that's basically what it looks like. You get the same natural light, can open it for a breeze or a place to catch fresh air, and the hammock but yea that boat is always there. We liked the thought of saving money (that we spent on champagne), so I would probably do it again.

You'll definitely get sans kids cruise even if the balcony view isn't up to par 🙂 . I don't think obstructed view bookings get an option to bid on a room upgrade (I didn't, anyway), but I was told people were asking about/receiving upgrades when checking in. This was for my June cruise which had like 700 people on board, so YMMV. May be worth asking about....
