Bxianesq Posted August 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2022 We are on a cruise with a Boston port stop. We were just there over the weekend, and have visited a number of times previously. In researching tours for our recent trip, I found a photo tour of the Back Bay area which sounded interesting. We ended up not booking it for our weekend trip because we got home from a game at Fenway in the wee hours. I might want to try that tour during our port stop. What is the best way to get from the port area to and from the Back Bay area? It doesn't look like there is a "T" stop near the port. I wasn't sure whether or not it was easy to access Uber, Lyft or a cab at the port.
Rare Rubyfisch Posted August 3, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Lyft or Uber is probably your best bet. You could (in theory) that the Silver Line to the Red Line to the Green Line, but I wouldn't, and I live here, don't own a car, and kind of hate taking ride shares. Nitemare Posted August 3, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Silver Line is close to the port, and from there you can go to South Station, free transfer to the Red Line to Park Street which puts you on the edge of Back Bay
Bxianesq Posted August 3, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Thanks-I am familiar with the Red Line. Not a big deal for us to change. We just stayed at the Intercontinental near South Station this weekend.
