Thought it would be fun posting the recent departure of the Queen Mary 2 from NY Harbor passing under the VZ Bridge.

Wanted the videos and photos to be clearer but we were under a Thunderstorm Warning by NOAA Weather.

Thank you for the pics....as a native NY'er I've sailed under that bridge dozens of times.... there is no better port than to sail down the Hudson River from midtown Manhattan & under the Verrazano Bridge & into the Atlantic Ocean.... since the 1970"s

 

Too bad several Lines including Cunard have forsaken Manhattan for Brooklyn & New Jersey.
