tiggy Posted August 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2022 My husband and I will have two full days in Long Beach this December prior to departing on our Emerald Princess cruise. We are staying at the Hyatt Centric and plan to Uber to San Pedro for departure. I'm looking for suggestions on things to do or local restaurants not to miss. Right now, we're planning on spending one day at the Aquarium of the Pacific. We don't have anything planned for the second day. Looking at the Long Beach website, we were considering hitting up a few of the local breweries on the other day. I'm open to ideas of other things to do or not to miss breweries. Our free days are Friday and Saturday with a Sunday cruise departure. Additionally, I'm interested in local (not chain) restaurant recommendations. Neither of us is really into seafood, but are otherwise open to almost all cuisines. We won't have a car, but are willing to Uber for something unique/special. KeepCalmBearOn Posted August 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2022 Great restaurants, L'Opera, Michael's on Naples (really good, but would have to Uber), Bo beau kitchen + tap, Queen's View Steakhouse at Parker's Lighthouse and for breakfast, Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles.
