RTR 21-0 Posted August 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2022 Has anyone brought a Revlon One Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer on a cruise and not had it damaged? It’s designed for 120v USA outlets only with instructions not to use a voltage converter. Aren’t the outlets in the cabins (except the bathroom) USA outlets? Does anyone have a recommendation for a good 220v plug as we will be traveling to Europe next year and I’ll need it for the hotel I would assume. jsn55 Posted August 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2022 I'd just buy a dual-voltage hair dryer. If yours instructs no voltage converter, it would probably fry immediately. I used to have that problem with my sound machine, I'd always run it on batteries in Europe. Last time I checked, a voltage converter was VERY heavy. As for a 'good 220v plug' ... are you talking about adapters or voltage converters?
