XCaret, Edventure, and beach club questions

Hi all,

Our port was just changed to PDC from Cozumel. RCCL website has no excursions available at this time through them and we'd like to go ahead and make our plans now. I was planning on a boat tour and Paradise BEach in Cozumel. Now, I'm not sure.

 

Does Edventure do anything other than snorkel or zip line? We are just looking to sightsee and see some beautiful beaches. Maybe find a beach club with cold drinks? Is it worth it to take edventure tours since he might know some of the prettier, less touristy sights?

 

The second option would be to take a taxi to Xcaret. Is this a beautiful beach view? Worth the $50 to get in?

 

Give me your best suggestions for non-ship excursions for someone who just wants a relaxing, scenic day but isn't really wanting to snorkel.
