Switching Rooms

Does that mean we will have 2 sets of keys, or can they just reissue new cards?

As noted by @canes20, only 2 of the 4 would need the extra cards.  When my sister and I travel with our Mom, we both get the extra key cards to her room.  She is hard of hearing, and we didn’t want to disturb the whole floor pounding on her door.  The person to whose room an extra key is being requested will need to go to Customer Services with the person requesting the key card.

The new cabin keycards have no charging privileges and ours were a different color (blue) than our S&S (gold) cards. This is a common, routine issue. The first day line at Guest Services is pretty steady all day.

We have in the past actually changed passengers in the cabins once on board so there was no need to have two keys. With casino offers now we don’t as we don’t want to mess up any of the included perks. No big deal to have two cards.

You do not have to get an extra set of keys to carry. Simply explain to them that two people are swapping rooms and they will REkey the necessary room keys.  We do this with our mom and dad all the time.  It does not mess up any incentives as those are based on the person, not the room.

Note:  You will want to make sure when you set up the on boarding spending accounts that that is handled correctly.  You can give (or not) charging privilege's to people in your party across rooms as needed too.  So when you switch the rooms it all works out.

Example my mom and I are in room together, and hubby and dad in the other.  When I set up my account I include hubby in the other room and exclude mom.  Then set up dads and include mom and exclude hubby.  So when they switch it is all good.

This is what my PVP told me also.  Or when checking in online just push Cash as payment option for everyone and then when you go to guest services to rekey the cards, set up the proper credit cards with each rekeyed guest.

Awesome.  Thank you.  Our mothers will be on our credit card, so this should be an easy fix.
